Notice of Changes to Parking Restrictions– Professor Day Drive of Changes to Parking Restrictions– Professor Day Drive<p>​<span style="color:#000000;font-family:"times new roman";font-size:medium;">Town Council has approved an amendment to the Traffic By-Law that will result in changes to the parking regulations in front of our school. This change is to impose “No Stopping Anytime” regulations on the west side of Professor Day Drive from the south school exit to the intersection of Professor Day Drive and Blue Dasher Boulevard. This means that vehicles are not permitted to park, even temporarily or while idling, in this area.</span><br></p>
Terry Fox Run Fox Run<p>​Fieldcrest will be holding our annual Terry Fox Run on September 27<sup>th</sup> to raise money for cancer research.  <br></p>
Inclement Weather and Bus Cancellation Information Weather and Bus Cancellation Information <p>​</p><p>All information regarding cancelled buses in Simcoe County is posted on the Simcoe County Student Transportation Consortium (SCSTC)'s bus information website at <a href=""></a>. Our school is in the <strong>SOUTH</strong> weather zone. When buses are cancelled, schools remain open for student learning, unless otherwise noted. It is always a family decision whether or not it is safe for their child(ren) to leave for school under severe weather conditions.</p><p> </p><p>The Consortium and bus operators try to make the decision to cancel school buses before 6 a.m. and make every effort to post announcements before 7 a.m. Inclement weather cancellations are effective for the whole day and buses cancelled in the morning will not run at the end of the day. Gifted Screening Screening<p>​Gifted Screening Parent Nominations are now being accepted for students in grades 3 – 8 until October 1<sup>st</sup>.  Please contact Mrs. Cammaert at ext: 56994 for details or to add your child's name to list.<br></p>
Orange Shirt Day Shirt Day<p>​Orange Shirt Day is October 1<sup>st</sup>.  We will wear orange shirts in recognition of the harm caused by the residential school system and as an affirmation of our commitment to ensure that everyone around us matters!<br></p>
Fall Food Bank Drive Food Bank Drive<p>​October is Fieldcrest's annual Fall Food Drive month.  Your contributions of non-perishable food items is greatly appreciated.<br></p>
