School Council

All schools in Ontario have an organized Council comprised of elected parents, a community representative, teaching and non-teaching employees and a school administrator. The participants provide a valuable service to our school community as a support system, as an advisory group and as a forum where educational topics and issues are investigated. All parents and guardians are encouraged and welcomed to attend Council meetings. Adhoc committees including volunteer parents, fundraising and safe arrival are often formed to carry out Council initiatives. Meeting dates are the first Monday of every month. The meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. in the library.
